Advanced Business Management (A-BM)
Students must have TOEIC: 750 or completed level 5 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required. For A-BM: We recommend a current resume and a minimum of two years of post-secondary education and a minimum of one year work experience.
Business Management (BM)
Students must have iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required.
English Preparation for Teachers (EPT)
Students must have either iBT 45/46 or TOEIC: 550 or completed level 3 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. No interview required.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Students must have either iBT 40 or TOEIC: 470 or completed level 2 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam.
Interpreting and Translation - Korean (IT-K)
Students must have either iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required.
Business Interpreting and Translation - Korean (BIT)
Students must have iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required.
Power Speaking and Modern Media (PMM)
Students must have either iBT 45/46 or TOEIC: 550 or completed level 3 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. No interview required.
TESOL
Students must have either iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required unless the student has completed EPT and has the instructor’s recommendation.
TESOL Advanced
Students must have either iBT 79-80 or TOEIC 850 or language equivalency test score, or on-line exam score at 85% or higher. An interview is required. Approved TESL Canada certification program. KGIBC-CTC diploma awarded upon successful completion. To apply to TESL CANADA for TESL Canada certifi cation, students must also have a Bachelor’s degree (proven equivalency from foreign countries) and language requirements set by TESL Canada.
TESOL for Children
Students must have either iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required unless the student has completed EPT and has the instructor’s recommendation. A criminal record check (Schedule F) must be obtained prior to practicum.
TESOL for Middle School
Students must have either iBT 61 or TOEIC: 650 or completed level 4 at KGIC or any recognized international English language equivalency test score or a pass on our entrance exam. An interview is required unless the student has completed EPT and has the instructor’s recommendation. A criminal record check (Schedule F) must be obtained prior to practicum.
